August 2004 Edition.

August 2004 edition

When we referred to the ANP/NP axis during the 1990s we were often pooh-poohed. Although it was surely crystal clear to all with the slightest knowledge of South African affairs that the NP and the ANC had been working hand-in-glove at least since de Klerk's notorious "Red Tuesday" speech of February 1990, there were still those who were apparently either incapable or unwilling to recognise that this was the case.

All the signs were of course there for everyone to see. De Klerk's unbanning of the terrorist ANC and subsequent hob-nobbing with their convicted criminal leader Mandela. The NP's willingness to forsake the South African national flag and national anthem and to recognise the ANC flag and a bastardised version of the national anthem in their place. More recently, moreover, has been van Schalkwyk's eager desire to get into bed with the ANC at every opportunity - both at national and provincial level - and of course the NP-darling 'Pik' Botha's open defection to the ANC. Surely, therefore, it must have been obvious to all but the most stupid that the NP of Botha, de Klerk and van Schalkwyk was a completely different animal to the NP of Malan, Strydom and Verwoerd!

Now, of course, comes the simple confirmation of this fact through van Schalkwyk's decision to disband the "New" NP completely and to encourage all members to join the terrorist ANC. To us the biggest surprise is that it's taken so long for this logical development to come about - yet incredibly there are STILL people who appear to be shocked by this move!

We of course warned South Africans during general election after general election and during referendum after referendum through the pages of S.A.Patriot/S.A.Patriot-in-Exile throughout the 1980s and 1990s that the NP was not to be trusted and should be rejected at the polls at the earliest opportunity. Regretfully the South African people chose not listen to our warnings, so are now therefore paying a very heavy price for their refusal to take heed of our advice.

At times we feel very much like Cassandra, but our consciences are completely clear. Hopefully, however, South Africans will now start to pay more attention to our advice in the days to come as we continue to lay out plans for the South African resistance struggle in exile!

This year's UKkasiefees proved to be a great success. The opening concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 10th July, at which many prominent Afrikaner artists performed, was a huge triumph, and it is anticipated that this will become a regular event in years to come. The festivities the following day at "Zulus Bar" in Leytonstone, which were attended by a large contingent of Springbok Club supporters, were an equal success, and featured many stalls and refreshment outlets retailing traditional South African products. The crowds were entertained by many leading South African artists, most prominently by Dozi, the highly popular Afrikaans singer, and by the Anglo-Gold Mine Choir. Dozi, who performed superbly in concert later during the evening, was moreover very keen to socialise with everyone, and established a good rapport with Springbok Club secretary David Williams. Everyone involved with UKkasie therefore deserves the highest congratulations upon organising such an enjoyable and successful weekend.

Details of the next Springbok Club meeting in London have now been finalised, and are as follows :-

Date : Friday 20th August 2004

Time : 19.00 hrs for 19.30 hrs.

Venue : The Clarence (the upstairs Function Room), 4 Dover Street, Mayfair, London W1 (just off Piccadilly, practically opposite the Ritz Hotel - nearest tube station: Green Park).

Guest Speaker : Mr. ALBERT WEIDEMANN

Albert Weidemann was of course the Springbok Club's guest of honour for their 2002 UDI Day Dinner, where he gave a most enthralling and enlightening speech regarding the current situation in Zimbabwe. Since then many significant events have taken place in that beleaguered land, and Mr. Weidemann is in a unique position to give an update about the present situation there and likely future developments. Albert Weidemann was born at Broken Hill (Kabwe) in the then Northern Rhodesia where he spent most of his early life, before moving to Bulawayo and from there to Gwelo. He subsequently moved to South Africa where he founded his own highly successful transport company, before relocating to the UK in 1998. Since arriving in the UK he has risen to prominence as a leading Zimbabwe human rights campaigner, and has served as Deputy Chairman of the Manchester Branch of the Movement for Democratic Change. He has also organised a number of mass demonstrations against the draconian policies of the ZANU-PF government outside the Zimbabwe High Commission in London, and has spoken extensively about the tyrannical nature of the Mugabe regime both on radio and in university debates.

The London Branch of the Springbok Club will be staging another river trip along the Thames in September, this time travelling from Westminster to Richmond and back. This will probably take place on Sunday 19th September, assembling at approximately mid-day. Full details will of course be given in next month's SCN.

The Northern Ireland Branch of the Springbok Club have already finalised arrangements for their UDI Day celebrations this year, which will take place on Saturday 6th November, and at which a prominent Unionist MP will be the guest of honour. Again fuller details will be given in future editions of the SCN.

A delegation of Springbok Club members will be visiting Gibraltar in October of this year, in order to help celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Rock becoming British. This will take place during the week of 17th to 24th October, so if any other members or supporters would like to join this trip they should e-mail the Springbok Club in this regard at:

At a recent meeting of the Executive Committee of the Springbok Club it was decided that in future membership would be accepted from those still living in South Africa itself. In the past it was always felt that there were too many potential dangers involved for members living under the current dispensation in South Africa, but it is now accepted that as long as potential South African-based members are made aware of the possible problems involved under present circumstances then their membership will in future be welcomed. In view of the weakness and decline in the value of the Rand it was furthermore decided that membership rates would be the same as in the UK (i.e. £20 for Full Membership and £10.00 for Associate Membership) at current Rand/Sterling exchange rates.

Matt Ward of Diverse TV writes as follows :-

"I’m researching for a new historical television programme.

"I’m specifically looking for an ex-military man with a commonwealth connection. If you know of anyone or can suggest a good area to target these individuals then please could you let me know.

"'Escape to the Legion' is Channel 4’s new prime-time history/reality series, giving 12 ordinary men a taste of life in the French Foreign Legion at a desert fort run by ex-Legionnaires in the vast expanse of the Sahara.

"The training will last for one month and will of course be tough - but achievable. It will reflect many of the real training practices of the Legion from fitness to military skills and discipline. Our aim is to make it a demanding experience but one that will be highly rewarding for those taking part. Your aim will be simply to finish the course. There are no prizes, just a sense of pride if you and your brothers in arms successfully complete the challenge.

"We are recruiting now. We are looking for men from all backgrounds and from across the UK. It doesn’t matter why you want to join, whether you are escaping something in your personal life, looking for adventure or just fancy a change and the chance to spend a month in one of the great wildernesses in the world.

"If you are aged between 18 and 40 and can take 4 weeks off you could be running away to join the Foreign Legion.

The compelling story of what really happened in a defeated Japan following the end of World War II. Merchant seaman James Mackay, whilst travelling in the east, started to hear stories of massacres and other atrocities committed by Japanese forces, not just against enemy troops, but against innocent civilian populations. His subsequent investigations revealed reluctance amongst Allied governments to discuss these incidents that seemed to amount almost to a cover-up. Why would the Allies want to overlook the crimes of a former enemy, especially when the leadership of another former enemy was being liquidated at Nuremburg? Using his own research, as well as material prepared by Australian Army war crimes investigator Capt. J.G. Goodwin, Mackay exposes the cover-up and names the guilty. Not only were the Japanese keen to sweep the past under the carpet, but the US government of the time also had its own reasons for preserving the political and industrial elite in Japan. A provocative book, which calls into question the morality of US policy towards Japan after WWII.

Belgian students have demanded the withdrawal of an honorary degree awarded to Mandela at Antwerp University. Students at Antwerp University published a press release demanding the withdrawal of the university's decision to award an honorary degree to convicted terrorist and subsequent "new" South African president Nelson Mandela on May 26. Student leader Gert Gillis said the NSV (the student society publishing the press release) opposed awarding the honorary degree to the veteran ANC leader - because they see him as being co-responsible for the farm attacks due his "inaction' during his presidency to stop them. The students said Mandela, as the ex-president of South Africa and still a highly influential veteran ANC leader, undertook nothing effectively to stop the killing of White farmers, which started in 1991.

The statement read: “As former president of South Africa, and still an influential veteran leader of the communist ANC, Mandela is and indeed must be seen as co-responsible for this horrendous ethnic-cleansing campaign targeting Afrikaner farmers, and which the international news media remains so silent about."

No.69 : Mr. NEIL SMITH of Johannesburg

Neil Smith was born in the UK, but emigrated to South Africa at an early age. He subsequently returned to live in Harlow during the early 1970s, but couldn't settle, and returned to South Africa round about 1980, living in the Kibler Park area of south Jo'burg. He was an IT expert, being a leading authority on several advanced programming languages in Suth Africa. Although never politically active, he was even so a true and dedicated patriot both in the British and South African contexts. A number of former friends would be very keen to learn where he is living now.

The International Campaign to Stop South African Genocide is run by Don Pengelly from Texas. They maintain a very informative and praiseworthy web-site detailing what is really happening in South Africa at the moment, which is well worth a visit. It can be accessed at:-

The following farm killings and attacks occurred in South Africa in just 14 days :-

Saturday 15 May 2004: Mrs Tertia Momber (47). Killed with a tent-peg and a rake.
Thursday 20 May 2004: Mr Henk Fourie (29) shot in the back.
Friday 21 May 2004: Mr Eddie Jordaan (71) shot in a maizefield on his farm.
Saturday 22 May 2004: Mrs Rina de Klerk (59) shot and killed. Her husband was shot and suffered a crushed jawbone and knee-wound.
Monday 24 May 2004: Mrs Anne McCondochie (58) killed. Her husband John (63) wounded.
Tuesday 25 May 2004: Mr Hennie van der Merwe (56) shot and wounded. His son Henk (22) was also wounded.
Tuesday 25 May 2004: Mr Johan van Reenen-Bergman (61) attacked and shot.

For each of these farm attacks the South African Government gained financially. If not through Death Taxes and Estate Duties in the cases where farmers died, then in Valued Added Tax (14%) on all expenses (medical as well as replacement of stolen items or repair of damages to property) as a direct result of these crimes.

I am pleading with the International Community to assist us in motivating the South African Government to forgo this immoral and unconsitutional "income" as a direct result of crime. We need to test this issue before the Consitutional Courts of this country, but are lacking funding to do so. While we have already made provision for legal expenses to the tune of R500 000,00, we need to double that amount before we can proceed with constitutional court action. The moment we have such surities in place we can immediately proceed with a constitutional court action to make crime and criminal activity "non-profitable" to government.

We are of opinion that all expenses towards self-protection and preservation should be tax-deductible, even to the ordinary salaried person in South Africa. Every single expense as a direct result of crime should be VAT zero-rated, and if one dies as a result of a criminal activity one's entire estate should be excluded from any form of Death Taxes or Estate Duties, since the government of this country has failed in protecting the victim's basic right to life, as per the constitution.

A prominent building firm in Cape Town is about to bite the dust as a result of black verneukery.

The contract was for several million, but shortly after the tenders had been opened, the successful tenderer (White) was told that he had to go into partnership with a second (Black) builder, as well as form an association with COSATU, the Black trade union body, as there were two hundred Blacks on his staff. The White builder began to have his doubts, but decided to sign the contract. In due course a certificate was prepared for two milion Rand. This was awarded, not to the White builder but to the Black. The latter saw no necessity to notify his White colleague thereof, but paid the entire amount into his own bank account instead of that of the White builder, who had of course single handedly financed the undertaking. When the White builder advised the Public Works Department that he now had no option but to go into liquidation, he was immediately told he could not do this without the consent of his "partner "and the Trades Union Congress! Such consent was not of course forthcoming. He has given the Public Works Department notice that he is now winding up his business. He was told that he could not do this either, but of course he has no alternative.

This is one of the inevitable results of Mr. MacMillan's 'Winds of Change' speech. He cheerfully consigned South African Whites to wholesale victimisation in order to preserve his "democratic" image. A large amount of the blame must also be laid at the doors of those Whites who put the interests of the Blacks before that of their own White fellow countrymen.

Yours etc.,

Richard Deane, Cape Town, Cape Province

Your report on the history of the notorious Arthur Kemp [July's SCN - Ed.] contained one important omission. Kemp turned State's Witness in the trial of that great South African patriot Clive Derby-Lewis in 1993, when his admission that he supplied a "hit-list" of leading ANC politicians led without doubt to the conviction of this clearly innocent man.

Kemp has simply been doing the bidding of his Black masters for many years now. Down with the traitor Kemp!

Yours etc.,

May I thank you so very much for your assistance in sending out our appeal for help for the poor people of the Lochvaal/Vanderbijlpark Transit Camp. Unfortunately these people are victims of mostly affirmative action policies being implemented at the Iscor Works in Vanderbijlpark. They are all blue collar workers and they have little understanding of the greater political picture which is playing itself out here. They don't understand that if you lose your job, you lose your job, period. The rules have changed and this has been having a terrible negative impact on these guys, who just don't understand. If they are lucky enough to land in the transit camp, they at least have a roof over their head, a bed to sleep in and food to eat. After a time, it is understandable that they fear going back into the outside world, a world which they feel, has betrayed them. They have no confidence in themselves. It takes a lot of understanding and discipline to keep everyone in check. The Welfare Officer who is in charge there has her hands full. There are approximately 27 children there together with 60 adults, so a huge group to take care of and feed.

Last night I received an e-mail from a friend who told me of two Afrikaner boys who were 'taken in' by someone in Alexandra Township, because their mother did not look after them anymore. I was incensed by this. On Monday I'll try to track these boys down through some contacts I have in the police. I'm hoping to get them moved to Vanderbijlpark. These things are happening here, and it is a harsh reality that many Afrikaners are unable to take the political pressure because they simply don't understand who or where to turn to. The Dutch Reformed Church, in my eyes, has betrayed its people. They fill me with disgust. If what I hear from the Transvaal Agricultural Union that they are urging farmers to 'give' their farms to Blacks in the spirit of reconciliation is true, they are the arch-hypocrites! But I guess we all knew that much betrayal would be going on during this time, and this has come about. We'll probably hear more of it as time goes on.

Thank you again for keeping the flags flying and for your wonderful work.

Yours etc.,

M.L., Sandton, Transvaal

Most readers will be familiar with all the problems which we have encountered from Mr. Francis "Fruitcake" Andrew, the Jordan-based trouble-making nutcase, for well over a year now.

In his ongoing vendetta campaign against us "Fruitcake" has evidently been making wilder and wilder claims and accusations. Perhaps the most deranged of these, however, is his apparent consistant claim that this present writer, the editor of the SCN, has never been married and does not have a daughter. I would guess that at least 10% of readers of the SCN either knew my late wife or have had contact with my daughter, and so can therefore testify from personal experience that this bizarre claim of "Fruitcake's" is totally bonkers. What else does "Fruitcake" need in order to convince him that he is talking total demented nonsense - copies of all the relevant marriage and birth certificates and wedding pictures?

Readers will probably also recall that "Fruitcake" once threatened to sue us for calling him a "lunatic character", though predictably nothing ever happened as a result of this ridiculous threat. The fact that he is now apparently trying to circulate claims which are not only lies, but easily provable lies, would certainly seem to suggest that he is not only a "lunatic character" but certifiably insane!

Finally, if you would prefer to be deleted from our SCN circulation list then simply e-mail us with the word "unsubscribe". Alternatively, if you liked this SCN and think more of your friends would like to receive copies then please let us know their e-mail addresses!

See you again next month!
